Can white people say "my people"?
Can white people say "my people" without sounding supremacist?
I hear minorities say it all the time, but when a white person says it for some reason it sounds so wrong

Why not if they're foreign? Not all white people are from the same place.

If they're foreign then yes...
But a native white person saying it casally sounds weird, not necessarily racist.

"My people" is a common way to say "my family" over here at least, so yes of course

Technically it's okay to say it, but the funny thing is it sounds so wrong.
Maybe because there's no need to be united as a race.

Well the thread is more in the racial sense tho.
There's a lot of people that call "my people" to their relatives.

You're one annoying individual you know that?
Anyway I wouldn't be offended and I don't think even the most extreme SJWs would be.
