Queen Zara released her debut album 1!  Such a great underrated pop album, ATRL would love it and this rate is the perfect occasion to make the people know about it.

I think we should save the Swedish girls rate for when Zara relases her album, so we can have Queen of the Clouds, Agnes' Dance Love Pop, Loreen's Heal and ZL1 all in one rate - all global or at least transcontinental smash albums from Swedish girls.

Whew, I didn't consider Zara, ha local debut album! I propose a Swedish pop girl rate with that one, which judging by what's been released so far sounds 100x better than her international debut.

Ace, to go along with your Ultimate Other Girls Rate, why not an Ultimate Other "Guys" Rate, Rap Edition? We could use 3 or 4 of the more well known "small name" rap stars of the decade.
As of recent, Travis Scott has released two solo albums in Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKinght, Chance the Rapper released Coloring Book, Childish Gambino released Because The Intenet (albeit back in 2013) and we could maybe use Tyler, The Creator (Wolf) or ScHoolboy Q (Blank Face LP or Oxymoron). Just a thought  .

I've long thought of UOGuys, and rappers would be included! If you've noticed, we don't focus on one particular genre in each rate, but celebrate otherdom in all of its color and beauty!

Can I start some rate next weekend please? The Female Troubadour and Eurovision rates are both ending.
I was thinking about the britpop rate but decided to put big bands like coldplay and radiohead aside and make something like a british post-punk revival rate (or maybe someone should come up with better name lol) including bands from late 1990s and early 2000s.
I went mostly by this wiki page and made this list of bands, the only band not mentioned in that wiki article are The Wombats... Plus I'm not sure about Placebo, they're kinda different than the others. Maybe I should go with Kaiser Chiefs or Babyshambles instead. I still plan to use 5 highest charting songs from each band, so that's 40 songs in total...

The Fratellis
Franz Ferdinand
Placebo
The Kooks
Oh yeah, I should get rid of Placebo and call it 2000's British indie rock rate or something...

Sounds good. There are tons of males that could be used for this rate. JMSN, How To Dress Well, dvsn, Gallant, Majid Jordan, Bryson Tiller for R&B, the guys I listed for Rap, and ZAYN, Troye Sivan, maybe Jon Bellion and Josef Salvat for Pop. Besides BORNS, I'm not sure who to use for Rock that fits the criteria 
Oh and this is just a suggestion for a rate. I unfortunately don't have the time to host a rate since I'm back in uni so if anyone wants to do one they can take a crack at my idea.

Someone needs to do that rate proposed by Mark, although Robyn only released a 5-track EP that year, and Lykke is way too different from the other two music wise, that's why I proposed Loreen and Agnes who all make very poppy music. Or we can use Body Talk by Robyn!
