high schooler freshmen-
1) don't get involved in relationship drama. keep that **** for like, grade 11 and beyond, it's too early for that stuff
2) don't skip class. there's, like, a 50/50 chance of you getting caught vs you not getting caught. too risky and not worth it most of the time
3) focus on your grades/marks
4) join a club that truly interests you
5) try making some friends. if you can't— don't sweat it.
6) be positive
7) don't pull stupid ****… it will do nothing but hurt you and only you in the long term.
7a) which brings me to my next point. don't do **** that you KNOW will hurt someone else. you will face repercussions and it won't be pretty.
8) homework… hmm, homework isn't too much a big deal oftentimes. if you miss an assignment and homework makes up a small bit of your overall average grade/mark, don't sweat it. but don't make it a habit; missing homework all the time won't be good for you
9) being scared is natural and okay. don't (metaphorically and literally) shoot yourself over it.
10) focus on getting through puberty.
11) don't hurt yourself. please, do not hurt yourself.
12) be good
I know that you will have a great year
