Proposing to ban the hijab because Muslim women shouldn't be forced to wear it. Some Muslim women want to wear it but White Feminists wouldn't be able to relate because they are caught up in their own culture.
Also, those white feminists who criticize Beyonce or Rihanna for shaking her booty shaking or 'sexualised' dance moves. They are forgetting that these types of 'sexualised' dancing are part of Black cultures and calling them out for dancing that way is a form of oppression of Black culture in the name of White Feminism and how women shouldn't be dancing sexually for men.
Beyoncé wanting to ban the word 'bossy' while promoting an album that includes the most misogynistic word in the English language ('bitch') a total of nine times. Also Beyoncé attacking the police and then having them escort her to the super bowl and making them clear the highway. Or do those things not count since it's only cool and socially acceptable to attack white women?

F. you failed. see me after class.

Not really. White people never attack Beyoncé or Rihanna for that. They skull dragged Miley though. Failing to see the correlation.

Nah. If Taylor Swift did those things we would never hear the end of it. Don't act brand new.
"White feminism" is just another way of shaming white people for no reason.

Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham and their failure to understand intersectional feminism.
ETA: Oh and Miley Cyrus.
ETA2: All these "feminist" white celebrities tbh.

now that i think about it, yes i kinda see it. this scalding tea.
I'm talking to a friend and need some examples of white feminism.
Can anyone help? Recent examples would be preferred if possible
Oh and that Medium's actress talking about equal pay and claiming "we've fought for equal rights for everyone" when white actresses get the most roles make the most money behind white men. They're only concerned with their personal (perceived),slights instead of acknowledging their privilege and how many others are still struggling.
"white feminism" is the most ridiculous terms ever. If you believe in this you're, not only NOT a feminist, but helping spread divisiveness in our society and hurting feminism to be taken seriously and reaching its goals.
White women campaiging for equal pay to White Men YET they (WW) earn more p/h than Black and NB-POC Women. They dont campaign to help minimum wage service workers in KFC/McDonalds earn a higher amount which would help ALL women in general to earn more money. Its like you telling your mate to campaign for you to be rewarded under the promise of you helping them achieve THEIR dreams but this is of course a lie.
People attacking Beyoncé for flaunting her marriage and her identity as a wife, not realizing that for a long time black women have been forcefully defeminised in popular narrative by depicting them as romantically undesirable (thru the aggressive and angry and wild stereotype) and accutely single.
It's like she's not allowed to be traditionally feminine and beautiful without people attacking her for "catering to the male gaze", etc.
White feminism has become about the rejection of certain traditional beauty and gender roles, but they can afford to do that because people aren't attacking their womanhood. They've always been put up on a pedestal. Non-white women are still fighting to be seen as beautiful, desirable as well as intelligent.
I once heard a group of guys say they hated wild curly hair and afro hair, and I have coily/kinky hair, so that is one reason why I never felt like I was feminine enough. It's just one example of how white features are exhalted above all else and it's one less battle for white women to struggle with. But they don't know this.... that's white feminism. Ignoring narratives that aren't related to you and pretending they don't matter.
"white feminism" is the most ridiculous terms even. If you believe in this you're, not only NOT a feminist, but helping spread divisiveness in our society and hurting feminism to be taken seriously and reaching its goals.
********. Plus I couldn't care less if Lena Dunham's brand of feminism comes to a screeching halt since it's nothing but pure ******** that leaves out the concerns of any woman that isn't white.
