Feminism should be about gender equality but I can't stand the feminists who preach that women should be equal to men but then expect things like men opening the door for them since "that's what gentlemen do" or the whole "ladies first" crap. I mean that's just selective feminism and suggests that some women want to keep the outdated values that favour them but not the ones that don't. I mean, how condescending must it be for a woman to need a man to hold a door open for her? Yet they're okay with it.

And then there's the clubs in London where only guys are allowed in if they have some girls with them since a club full of girls attracts more club goers than a club full of guys. Not to mention girls get in for free whereas guys have to pay. As a guy who is not remotely sexist and has always spoken up about how misogynist the world is, this pisses me off. Again, no girl is going to complain that they've been given free entry to a club yet if it was the other way around, there would be women fighting for equality and a major media backlash.
I know that in the grand scheme of things, free club entry or holding a door open isn't a big deal but it's more about what they represent. Seriously, practice what you preach.
