like... what is the story? It doesn't make any sense. Also what can mariah do? Alison has 2 grown-up children - one a Harvard Lawyer. Should Mariah check Alison into a rehab facility and stay with her 24/7? Take her in into her house - a family with 2 small kids? Also apart from the 2 grown-up kids, Alison has 3 more children who are in their later teenage years, early twenties.
That woman has 5 kids, a brother and a famous sister who's given her money, shelter and care over the past decades. I mean is it all on Mariah to help her siblings? Alison also still got a mother. I mean when Kathrine Jackson at age 80 could still look after 3 young children (MJ's kids) one would assume that a younger Patricia Carey could get thru to her adult daughter, don't you think?
It seems like Alison cannot be helped. She has been like this - the woman we see today - the addict, the unreliable woman, the relapses - since at least 1994 when Mariah supported their mother to take away the 2 oldest kids from Alison's care. And guess what, a lawyer agreed with them, because Alison lost legal custody of Shawn and Michael who then lived with their grandmother.
It is not Mariah's task to sit by her sister's bedisde holding hands. Especially when you tried that in the past.
