Not really, especially if you are getting some wrapped up in **** like chart success and other peoples' opinions of your faves to the point that it's upsetting you regularly in your daily life. It's obsessive behavior really, and though we make a lot of jokes about it, some people take it to crazy places.
No, It makes stans care more about other peoples lives than their own.
But Yes at the same time, It can make people feel happy / give them something to do.

And let me clarify me earlier post, cause I don't think anything is wrong with stanning in the sense that you really love and admire an artist and their work. I'm just saying I think it becomes unhealthy if people are bored, lonely, depressed, and using ATRL or stanning as an "escape" from those realities instead of trying to fix them.
i'm indifferent personally, but I think it's good to have something to be passionate about that you share with other people. humans are social and it's a (mostly) positive way of interacting with people that care about something as much you do. it's just like sports, but instead of teams it's superstars
It is stupid...I mean its fine to stan for an artist! but to actually fight and go on about their sales is a bit too much...like we don't care..if you fave has stole 200 million or only 1k! if you love them, just love them make gifs, avis and not care what others think.
