Religious circumcision: a question for Jews/Muslims.
This isn't a thread for non-religious people to express their vehement dislike for either of these two specific religions. It's a general question to people that follow these faiths.
If foreskin is seen as such a gross thing in Judaism and Islam to the point that it needs to be removed, then why did God create males with foreskin in the first place? Is it actually an obligation in the religious texts (Torah/Quran) or just another form of culture that's become embedded with religion over time?
Are you expecting logical answers from religious people?
Circumcision is the healthy and right thing to do. It should be done. Why? Because religion teaches so.
Why are males created with a foreskin in the first place? Same thing with nails. You are created with it and you are expected to cut them.
You can't get a more satisfying answer.
