Kesha & Luke's team want judge with ties to Sony removed

The battle between Kesha and Dr. Luke marches forward.
On Tuesday, attorneys for the feuding celebs met in New York to hash out a conflict of interest for the judge presiding over their ongoing legal issues.
For those who missed it, in April New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Werner Kornreich ruled that Kesha could NOT record outside of her contract with Sony Music. Shirley made the decision even in light of the singer's claims of sexual assault against Luke.
Following the ruling, it was revealed Kornreich is married to a lawyer who works at a firm with ties to Sony. Obviously, lawyers for the 29-year-old were not pleased with the coincidence.
Per the report, both parties want the judge to be recused AKA removed from the case. We imagine the producer's side wants the judge removed so Kesha's team can't use it against him in the future.

They are only back-pedalling now because it looks shady AF and pretending they had no idea.
Had this gone unnoticed, no one would have cared to tell Kesha's team.
