You call out people on being overweight ?
It's not like they aren't already aware of the issue, and most of them probably even loathe themself over it without people like you making it worse for them.
Do you also call out people on other health damaging behaviours ?
What exactly gives you the authority to tell people what they can and can't do to their bodies?
I've been overweight for as long as I can remember, and it's people like you who shame us that shift us into a spiral of depression to where we feel disgusting and unwanted. I've lost around 100 pounds and I still look in the mirror and see something ugly because of all the abuse I got from people exactly like you.
Michelle Obama does it all the time. So if the First Lady can do it, so can I!
I always call out people for being overweight, is not healthy and they are damaging themselves, unless they have a special case going on I will stop there.
Instead of trying to dictate other people's bodies and violating their personal boundaries, maybe you could just be concerned for their mental health and not say anything at all?

That link you quoted has got to be the most delusional article I've read this year They are in complete denial over the very real dangers of obesity. Someone who is obese and can't see what it's doing to their health, instead choosing to scream "body positivity!!!'" is someone who doesn't love themselves.
It depends what we meant for 'overweight', if it's in a light way, it's not a big deal, we can't all be Victoria's Secret models.
Obviously it's better being and stay fit, however we can't judge or call out people for that, everybody have their own reasons and issues for being in that way not to mention medical or metabolism issues.
Plus tables are turning pretty fast, I know a few people who used to call out 'overweight' people also with disprect and now they're overweight-obese them, you never know what can happen in life.
I've always struggled with my weight, first I was obese, then I lost a lot of weight, which was waaay too much; now I have a little too much fatty (not obese) and I'm losing it step by step, I'm well aware of where I stand and I don't need a mother****er to patronize me.
