Hey, I was just wondering if you guys judge people by their avatars. I know I do, like when I see someone without an avatar - it just messes me up.

Another thing is that when someone has a username that I can't say in my head - that really confuses me. Like let's say a post was by someone named "cd456ka" I would say that out in my head, and it would confuse me. Just saying, I was just wondering if anyone else does that, or I'm just completely crazy.

Same. I guess that's what I meant. But I like think about that person as their avatar, so if someone doesn't have an avatar, I am really thrown off.

I don't like it either, but I know that on some sites you can't even get an avatar until you reach a certain number of posts or an amount of time as a member. Anyone can have one here, but I'm just mentioning that because it's bizarre and an annoying way to single newbies out.

I don't like it either, it makes their profile look naked when they have no avatar, sig ect

Honestly, not having an avatar doesn't bother me in the slightest. There are far more worrisome problems on this forum than someone lacking the time to give themselves an avatar.
