Britney Spears is a pop star permanently stuck in another era


One of the 2 most important newspapers in the country had this to say about Britney's performance:

-Spears’s performance was supposed to be redemptive, a high risk/high reward gamble that mostly went bust.
-The performance wasn't awful, it was just wrong. Awkward. Dutiful. Old-fashioned.
-Britney played back up on her own performance to G-Eazy.
-The Washington Post calls her "the least empowered pop star there is".
-Cheering for a Britney come back feels like we don't know if we are hurting her or helping her.

The performance was great, why is everyone being so dramatic? But yeah, I'll admit I cringed a little at how she started dancing around him, who let's be honest is NOT famous or known at all. He should have been playing the rightful back-up act that he was, and let her rule the show like she did at the Billboard awards.

I've felt this way for a long time; good to see that kind of slant on Britney's situation get an airing in the media.

I've been saying... her fans are her biggest enemies and the ones to blame for her demise

Ever since her "comeback: in 2008 people have been going easy on her. Well its been almost 10 years and people are still waiting for her comeback. Guess what shes never coming back (as a performer) so its time to admit it and move on.

Why do people keep calling it a comeback? They've been saying this for a decade already.
