It wasn't a bad performance, more-so cheesy than anything else.
It doesn't seem to be hurting her too much, since that single (Which I'd hoped to have died by now, and MOTM would be released) is selling well weeks after the debut.
I still think all the hate should go to that random 'rapper' she featured with... He's dull, mediocre, boring and brought nothing to the table.
There have been like 3 negative reviews. The other reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. I guess people just hold Britney to such a high standard because of her VMA history
This happens pretty much anytime she performs. Even if it was an amazing performance they would attack her lip syncing. She's sitting pretty at #2 on iTunes though so I'm sure she's fine.
I mean it was a very bad performance imo, but why are the media acting like her performance was the most awful thing ever?
It was only 'bad' because 1. She lip-synced (but this isn't a surprise, she ALWAYS does this) 2. The performance itself was a bit 'basic' and 'empty' feeling and 3. She was obviously going to be compared to Bey, who put on an absolutely flaw-free performance.
So yeah, it's all super unfair, yeah it wasn't great, but she doesnt deserve all of the hate she's getting. They should leave her alone.
