Since then their strategy has been to spend a massive amount of money on elaborate televised performances, with hundreds of back up dancers, expensive digital effects, and flawless pre recorded backing vocals to make it seem like more than what it is (a competent but unspectacular performer set to competent but unspectacular music). Superbowl '13 is why her tour blew up. Now they did it again for this tour. She just has the best PR team and the best staging team.
