Discussion: Will Nicki ever release a cohesive, career-defining album?

At the moment, she doesn't really have any cohesive albums and although The Pinkprint came close to that, it still felt a bit short of something. it was a good album tho

But do you think she'll ever release a strong, career-defining album? She has the potential to do so but this time she shouldn't make it too long and also let it be about the music. Not gimmicks/theatrics like Anaconda video etc.
She may also have to steer clear from blatant pop tracks and make a few crossover songs instead e.g. Moment 4 Life etc alongside Hip Hop stuff. The problem with her albums is that there's always loads of filler in it.

I think her next album will do it.
For one thing it's now needed more than ever.

A couple misplaced pop songs really shuts off a lot of the audience and with sales how they are now, she really needs to be catering to urban audiences (i.e. the people who are actually buying/streaming the albums).

She hasn't been hyping this album up to the high heavens and she hasn't had the whole SB drama like whilst she was recording TPP. As Seba said a lot of known insiders have hinted that this will be the album for her.
