Well it's a bit unfair cos artists like Avril, Shakira, Gwen, Madonna etc. are blacklisted for no reason. But still, radio is important.

Yes. You can bring that "but it's where people get to hear songs the most" argument, I won't deny it but how does it represent "popularity" of songs if people can't control what they hear? With all playlists/suggestions on Spotify/YT it's still their choice to play it or not.
