Instagram is constantly adding all kinds of "improvements" and updates and add-ons to keep it's relevancy. Are these tactics desperate because it's power is fading or is it keeping up with the now and maintaining it's iconic status?
Day later update: since Instagram isn't fading u can follow me @yoshi_lapin
I see it stronger than ever, I would be more worried about snapchat than Instagram. A lot of people are using the instagram snaps more now. It was a very smart move.
These social media networks are always big for a couple years then people move on to the next one.
Myspace --> Facebook --> Twitter --> Instagram --> Snapchat --> ?
Yeah. A lot of people rarely post photos on it because they feel like their feed has to look like a series of grandiose photo shoots. Meanwhile, Snapchat is more laid back and stories disappear in 24 hours so people aren't as preoccupied with how they look in pictures or videos. Also the new ripoff Instagram stories feature is kind of a flop.
Yeah, it's weird how people used to post new pics several times a day... now some people only post pics literally once every few weeks. I don't think it's completely dead but it's definitely not as "in" as it once was.
yes, but like FB, it's already too popular to go away for good.
I hate all these ugly ass updates, I use it A LOT less than before but I will continue to use it
