Back when "We Belong Together" peaked, the panel was MUCH MUCH larger than it is now. Nearly twice the size it is now.

"3" never debuted at #1 on airplay.

"3" debuted at #1 on Hot 100, reached the Top 10 of Hot 100 Airplay. It debuted #1 due to it's 255k digital debut, and at the time I believe it was at 20m+ airplay.

They probably meant the Hot 100. I believe it debuted at #1 there.

As for the number of listeners. It's actually how many times it was heard. The same person can hear the song multiple times, so that's actually what they're counting. Not the number on unique listeners. So, if a song was played once, and seven thousand people heard it, then the next time it's spun it could also be heard by the exact same seven thousand people, but the total is 14 thousand.

I hate Disney they can make u huge if they want but as well they don't want to take any risk!

I know the reason of why they take out 'Alice' of ALL radio lists in the US! it was disney fault!
They just only let a song to stay there if on the first week of they see a huge potential if not they don't give a **** and let you flop over there!

and actually without any mainstream 'Alice' debut at #71 on Hot 100 just thanks to iTunes

^Stations play what is requested, not what is selling. So, Alice probably isn't getting enough requests. Which makes sense. It's a grower type of song. If people don't like it at first listen, they won't request it, and then it fails to do much.

Also, Billboard doesn't count YouTube/Vevo anyways, so why does it matter? Yes, it would be nice if they were all in one, but that's not going to happen unless YouTube/Vevo does a huge crackdown.

Imagine if Telephone goes #1 this week because of streaming only. Everyone will be like WTF?

I know it will never happen, but it still seem very possible to me. If it got 20 million views on Vevo in a week, why can't it have like 5 million = 90 points on AOL / Yahoo?

I was thinking the same thing last night but I just told myself it was stupid because I don't wanna be disappointed

It just seems weird that no video has ever gotten that many streaming points so I feel like Telephone won't be able to either. The most-streaming influenced chart position I can think of is Britney's 'Radar' because that got to the 70's when it was really low on airplay and sales IIRC.

Anyway, top 5 is great and would exceed my expectations so I'm going to hope for that

Yes, I don't get my hopes up either, it just hard to believe that a song which had never hit Top 3 on airplay/iTunes can go #1 because of streaming only. But on the other hand, I also can't see why wouldn't it get at least 3 million streams.
