Bangerz was risky on Miley's part to experiment with a new sound that she hadn't done before. I mean no one expected Love Money Party or SMS from Miley based on her previous sound on any of her previous records.

Lemonade was one step further from Beyonce but what exactly is risky about it? She went from a visual album to a narrative album. Music-wise it was something people can expect from Beyonce. It's not like she reinvented herself into anything else.

Bangerz. Miley completely overhauled her image and released music like she hadn't released before.

Lemonade was just the same as self-titled.

Both are riskier in different ways. Bangerz was for Miley's image, Lemonade was for the genre, which isn't really catchy.

Bangerz, It's riskier to release a crap ass album. Beyonce already did the less radio-friendly stuff with Self-Titled.
