Online shopping comes with a lot of uncertainty. I absolutely can't shop for clothes and shoes online. Electronics, sure, but again it's a risk. What if the product is damaged during shipping or what if it never arrives etc.
In store shopping on the other hand means dealing with people, like P!nk said. Sometimes, retail people are nice, helpful and pleasant. But then, there's the few who don't give a **** about you and would rather be somewhere else (which is understandable, but still awkward and a buzzkill)
It depends but.... Online is winning to me right now.
I live in the countryside and can't find all the stuff I need in stores. So online shopping is my savior
Then it's great, you can buy anhthing without even moving
Plus it's often cheaper : Amazon with a Premium account is heaven
Clothes wise I always shop in stores. When the mall/stores are empty-ish it's absolute heaven
Eletronics on the other hand I don't mind getting online, tho I prefer buying in store too so im gonna go with stores
I only shop online for hard to find things like parts and accessories that you simply won't find in any store.
I like going in stores because you can see and touch what you're buying and walk out with it. It also makes impulse buys harder because you have time to reconsider
Online because you can find anything on the face of the earth you want (like anime or manga, not every store has anime and manga you can buy since it's not as widely distributed). The only thing that sucks is the shipping fees
