With the recent news of the Gay Bachelor show produced by Lance Bass, I did some digging on the background of the bachelor himself, Robert Sepúlveda Jr..
Turns out he has a youtube channel, and it's linked right here:
I looked into his liked video, and saw the most recent video he liked:
Turns out, the video is by a guy denying the Orlando gay club shootings ever happened and that it was all made up by Obama in order to take guns away from God-fearing Christians.
What do you think about this mess? Is he trash for doing this?
Well being reasonable, he could've liked the video to bookmark + show friends/other people and point out how delusional some people are or some other reason.
His likes are filled with RuPaul, he worked with Pulse Foundation & he's a gay, I doubt he thinks the shooting was fake.
Some people like videos on Youtube so that they're easier to watch again. Perhaps he just wanted to go back to it later to show someone an example of bigotry or to get a kii. If not,
Maybe he liked it ironically? He found it funny that someone was so crazy, so he wanted quick access to the video to show other people, or to use in one of his future videos, perchance.
Like more sensible people in this thread have said, there are a multitude of reasons you could like a video without agreeing with its contents. I like tweets and videos all the time to help remind me to read or watch them later
