I thought it was that because it would be the "perfect illusion", one second kissing the person you love (the shadow) and then the other second he/she is gone
Is perfect illusion like a teardrops on my guitar or a dear john Taylor Swift kind of song? Sure doesn't look like a dance anthem from the excess guitar pics and am sooo here for that.
Well there is a guitar and a mic. I still don't think it is a ballad, but could it be more a The Edge of Glory or You and I type of song rather than a super pop dance song like Applause?
I don't understand how apparently it's a club banger or whatever it was labelled and yet this picture and the one when she was on stage at a piano when she sang for iHeart (I think) would suggest a much more type of ballad.
