What she did in 7 years ( including 5 year break)(was legendary.) She was giving you 2016 in 1996. She influenced All Your faves. From the beyonce's, to the gaga's, to the adele's. The impact is there, no matter now much shade is thrown.

Her style and sound is still emulated to this day. Her music is constantly sampled. Her name is constantIy referenced despite being dead 15+. I mean It's not rocket science.
