second of all, islam is not a threat against homosexuality in any greater sense than any organized religion (christians...orthodox jews...all not fans of gays). if you are referring to isis as islam, not only are you perpetuating a damaging stereotype (cause gays have never experienced that, right?), but also ignoring the fact that isis is a threat to basically everyone.

Tho fear mongering on religion (and of course some very legitimate concerns on current religious events) has something to do with it as well.
