Why did she choose to have her stage name be Halsey? Like I don't get why lol.

I get why some people don't like it, but I personally find her stage name to be cute
"Fifth Harmony" and "Little Mix". Little Mix' name is embarassing! That has no longevity at all. Imagine being in your 30s and in a group called "Little Mix". They were called something else before that, it was better.
And I'm gonna stick up for Halsey because that's actually a pretty great stage name considering it's not ONLY an anagram, it's a street in Brooklyn where she apparently spent a lot of time. Whether or not she actually spent a lot of time on that street, the fact that it's a street in New York kind of legitimizes it as a name.
Now if it was the street she grew up on, that would be REALLY good.
