Yes, mum asked when I was 19/20 and I said yes, and then she told my dad and he called me and asked why I didn't tell him? And he said the saddest thing ever - basically apologizing for "letting me down" to the extent that I didn't feel comfortable telling him myself. God I cried after that phone call - all that bottled up bullsh*t for my entire life FINALLY set free.
