Yeah I read k pop publications too and I never do cuz I don't care for K pop but I googled Cl Lifted reviews and they're the ones that pop up a lot. They seem salty that CL is trying to crossover and called it too American or whatever but hmm well this is not k pop and America does not use k pop of course she was gonna sound like this for her American debut. CL has lots of potential I hope they push her... unlike Iggy and Nicki CL actually has it all RAPS, SINGS AND DANCE. Not saying she's better than them or make them seem less but CL can do it all and can out perform the actual pop girls I'm excited for her.
CL doesn’t care about your silly Song of the Summer race—she’ll drop a solid-gold banger in the middle of August just because she can, and it’ll still sound better than most of the songs gunning for the title. The K-pop star and co-writer Asher Roth (yeah, the college-loving Asher Roth, who shares management with her) mix a Wu-Tang Clan sample with the breezy vibes of Beyoncé’s “Hold Up” and M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” into one sweet seasonal cocktail.
