Discussion: Is LGBT the most judgmental social group of all?

I am getting the feeling that the LGBT, especially gays are amongst the most narcissistic, judgmental and egoist people in the world.

Masc4masc, no fems, no spice, no curry etc. I understand everyone has their own preferences but these terms only show that you're a pretentious asshole. Out of all straight people I've ever encountered, I've never seen so much judgement. And yes, I spoke with many straight girls and they're not as judgmental about guys. Maybe straight guys sometimes comment on a girl's boobs or ass, but it doesn't come to such extremes.

What do you think?

PEOPLE are judgmental gay or straight. The sooner you realize this you wont put people in boxes according to their sexuality

I'd also say hookup/dating apps are for a select group of people and you shouldn't judge all gay men off an app/Internet dating culture. If you look at straight statistics for dating websites the racial preferences they have are shockingly high too, and then if you want to really make the reach you can say everyone on tinder is judgemental and shallow.

In my post I referred to studies which I think are worthwhile if you have interest in this topic beyond what a forum could provide. This website, because of its audience, could have a bunch of yes (by people scorned by this community) or nos (by people scorned by/or who have seen the religious right show judgemental attitudes.) It's just personal and doesn't really reflect anything resembling facts that can support your title which groups many many people from around the world. There probably isn't an answer for what you're asking, or there is one in which groups of people value traditional western notions of manners and hospitality the most (and would most likely be seen as welcoming from the outside?)

If this thread was on a forum of straight Western men who are at dating age it would be filled with posts on how being less than 5'10 is basically a death sentence for dating because women are so judgemental and that women won't even consider someone below 6'1 along with colorful language. Now is that true or their experience?

No. I think that group of gays are the ones who make the most noise. Me and my friends are not like, but because we're not loud and annoying or as visible we just blend in.

I wouldn't say the MOST (that award can go to the hardcore religious zealots and the southern Christian rednecks).

It's just more cringeworthy coming from gays because they are one of the groups with the LEAST right to be judgmental towards another group tbh.

I find LGBT, and specifically gay guys the most judgemental people I've met. I've talked to straights, Christians, Atheists, Muslims, conservative Christians (not just Catholics), liberals, conservatives, nationalists, lefties and none of them were so. In fact, most of them were even tolerant and nice people.

Let's not do too much on the good sistrens in the gay community. They are in the top 5 most judgmental, yes, but let's be fair and save the top spot for groups that actually deserve it.
