She said she didn't know who was calling them and that she hated it. She literally said in the interview you speak of that she goes to great lengths to take time for herself and keep a low profile.
She jokingly said it was still possible to pay paps to release the smile pictures rather than the ones of her flicking them off...not about them showing up.
