This post brings me to another thought: It almost feels as if many people are supporting Frank Ocean, not because of his music, but because he's a homosexual. I wonder if that's fair to say.
Despite his uninteresting personality, pretentiousness, and contrived music, it's almost as if you're forced to like Frank Ocean because he's one of the very few African American homosexuals who is open about it and in the entertainment industry.
