To some extent yes. Cultural Appropriation is higly flawed and a very weird concept. For exemple, there is no such thing as japanese culture appropriation, although she'd get backlash for her L.A.M.B era had it happen today, it'd be backlash from ignorant people. You all do realize that the reason she was wearing Indian looks in the 90s was because of Tony Kanal, she dated him for a decade and he was the love of her life, she was exposed to his culture and family for 10 years, and all of No Doubt's songs at the time were about him.
