Celeb News: Tyra Banks is now a Professor

Former Victoria's Secret Model and eternally meme-able business woman Tyra Banks will be a professor Stanford University next year. Come May, she will serve as a guest lecturer for M.B.A. students, co-teaching a class on the art of personal branding.

Tyra is working with Allison Kluger on the course, which begins with a video project titled, "Project You: Building and Extending your Personal Brand." She's also noted that while the course will be fun, she's not messing around, people.

"If I see somebody not paying attention, I’m gonna call on them," she told the Wall Street Journal. She wants to keep people off their phones, with the exception of allowing them to "tweet something I’ve said."

First Harvard now she's co-lecturing at Stanford. These are the best schools in the world. I'm surprised people are trying to shade her for trying to better herself and actually earning the respect of these institutions. But I wouldn't except anything less from state school communications majors who pulled straight C's last semester because they JUST can't help but spend 12 hours a day on ATRL shading more successful people.
