The real question is why can their relationship from years ago still cause headlines or even be something people spend time and energy on to make articles about 'JT using Britney for promo' . The whole thing should be a closed book for all parties, including the media.

I would like to amend a previous statement I made in this thread. I stated that during those extremely rare times when Britney Spears comments on Justin Timberlake, it's always positive. Well, I couldn't believe that I actually forgot about the ICONIC "Chaotic" moment. This is the one and only time Britney Spears has spoke negatively about Justin Timberlake...
...and she SLAUGHTERS him. DESTROYS him in every sense of the word.
What's great about the clip is how she calls out Justin Timberlake's fakeness—about not liking people who play the victim, but then go on to talk trash ("going back and forth"). That's why she respects Eminem, but doesn't respect the fakeness of other celebs that she has encountered, guys... and girls. Britney Jean Spears is the wisest and most self-aware pop star.
