Well the major American cities are each greater than all the cities on this list combined but they're also hella expensive so it's obvious why they didn't make it

Toronto rent is only really high downtown. I'm moving to North York in 2 weeks and my rent very affordable and it's a very decent size. I was actually paying more for less in a smaller city in southern Ontario last year.
