Circus and FF were not that risk taking. They were to establish Britney once again as a main pop girl and they served pure catchy pop songs. Which also what makes Britney's style and unique voice make perfect for pop hits. They did their jobs perfectly.
BJ was an unfinished not very thought through kinda experiment. Neither the productions or her vocals sounded like an professional record. It was a mistake.
Glory on the otherhand has the best vocal and production quality since idk oops/britney albums. maybe? Trying this album not the compare with
ITZ/Blackout cause i'm finding it's style more like Oops/Britney eras. If Britney didn't change her sound and release itz or blackout this would be the album she would go with after the first 3 albums.
I think either herself or some really fckng smart people on her team knew that she had to go back to her roots to make people realize why she's the fckin Britney Spears. Although i think she always wanted to release this kind of record but the label never allowed her to. I really don't think she likes to perform cheesy songs of hers anymore. She has became much mature over the years and other than her classic hits i don't think she feels connected with her recent hits.
Yes she's not a strong vocalist or as perfect as dancer once she was before but her style and voice is always gonna be perfect for this kind of records. No matter how many style, sound or image she changes people will be there for this kind of pop records.
Well done Britney
