1) 60's Bands Rate - rating the most commercially successful album from the beatles, the rolling stones, the doors, the beach boys and the who (out of those released in 60's obviously)
or
2) The Beatles After The Break Up Rate - The first album released after the break up by each member.
or
3) Brit Pop/Brit Rock/ Whatever Rate- Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, The Smiths, Blur, The Libertines, Coldplay, Joy Division - rating 5 highest charting (in UK) singles from each band.
any thoughts?

I have been dying for a Bee Gees or Beach Boys singles rate!
BTW, I want to start a new series of rates: (He/She/They) Wrote/Produced This! All the songs that were either written or produced by artists, or all the covers of said artists songs. Prince would be the first one, but I'd love one for Barry Gibb as well.
And I like your Brit Pop idea, but it should be broken down by decades, right? Like, the singles of Oasis/Blur/Pulp/Radiohead (when they qualified)/Spiritualized/Manic Street Preachers etc would be one rate, and the singles of the bands of the Noughties would be another.
Although I couldn't take the Noughties one - having to suffer Razorlight once was enough.
