The artworks for Ceremonials & Lungs by Florence could've been a LOT better without the frames (and text)

They're pointless.
One of the tackiest ones I've seen is the one with the flowers on PRISM. The image is decent but that frame ruins it.

Don't forget the best one, PRISM.

Sometimes it's good, look at Circus, it fits the theme a lot and it looks great.

But then we got tragedy like Prism and these awful flowers or just white frame on All I Need by Foxes, it would looks so much better without the frame (let's be real, it still would be horrible)

Hate them ! I hate them on Katy's PRISM and I hate them on Ryn's The Fool.

The only exception is Halsey's BADLANDS where it doesn't look too bad.

Oh right, Badlands is a really good example, it works great in my opinion.

Most of the time they're adding it because the cover would be too boring without it.

But in some cases it looks good.

It's usually bad. Badlands and Circus are good tho.

It definitely does since the frames are a part of the cover, so it doesn't look like a last minute decision to fill in the emptiness or a mistake .

I think it works well on 7/27, but I hate it on Prism.
