There are lots of atheists with a live and let live mentality though

I think personally, it's more that the ones who are more vocal about being atheists are the ones who are really staunch about it.

Meanwhile the ones who don't really care about other people's beliefs generally might not see a need to broadcast their own (or lack thereof).

Why is this the same generation that claims to want to be vocal about social issues and always discuss them but then also get annoyed when people... are vocal about social things (Black Lives Matter, Vegans, LGBT, religion) and discuss them?

I mean I get some are annoying, but I feel like everyone just complains about any social groups at this point.

I used to be one of those edgy atheists in like 10th grade but now internet atheists annoy me more than casually religious people.
