This is more common than you think, but usually companies pay how many ever cents to take out the stock tag and replace it with their own. Embarrassing.
The standard price for most merch t-shirts is around 25 dollars, not 50. At least here in the States. And the designs tend to be more elaborate than this. Joke's on whoever is buying this crap.
