They sure have a soft spot for Beyoncé.. Who doesn't though? I am happy they are rewarding someone who doesn't feel the need to follow trends set by others and isn't afraid of taking her own new path. She is making the ancients proud.
OT: I won't be watching the whole ceremony but at least I have something to look forward to now. Queen B is one of a kind. Lemonade is one of the best and most ambitious project a female has ever done, it deserves to be honored and it's also inspiring a lot of artists to aim for different and better things instead of being trapped in that same routine the industry shaped. Beyoncé with her 2013 release and latest 2016 one is setting new "rules" by making the ancient/current ones obsolete.
The woman had/has so much impact on the industry and its people. I am happy with the path she took. She is really taking things on a whole new level and people are seeing that and rewarding her for it. The silly stan wars are so meaningless, her latest release got 4 EMMYS noms what more can my fellow Atrlers say..
Beyoncé really showed/is showing the others popular acts why she was the one nicknamed the QUEEN. It's great that she is commercially successful and a huge personality but It goes beyond commercial success, she made a statement on December 2013 since then things haven't been the same and the shift is growing fast.
