I think it'll be the 16th because of AHS. They seem kinda linked this year. The same day she announced her single, they announced a new sweepstakes. Idk they just seem very samey this year. like how they've both been very secretive this year.

I agree. I think this was basically her response to the VMAs. Mindtrappa also said she had just gotten the release date the day prior. So that means we wanted info this whole time and she had NONE
They definitely have a window of opportunity they want to hit in September, and I guess it will be less intense with releases / current songs having peaked (unless Katy sweeps in to try and make everyone forget Rise bombed).
I do think she'll be featured at Apple's conference. She's the only known major release next month, they need someone to promote Apple Music during the keynote, it's clear LG5 will be pushed hard by them, and they've previously had Selena, Drake, The Weeknd's music promoted through these events.

In terms of the rest of the year it should be 23 September.. there's no time to release later in the year cuz of December radio freeze and otherwise the gap might be too big.. single 2 on 6 January tbh, start the year afresh
I doubt they'll use new Gaga music in AHS, but no doubt there's going to be commercials and teasers for the song/album in every episode, probably multiple times.
Also partnership with Apple Music and something with iPhone is likely imo.
