IMO, I don't believe she ever held very much "star power" in the first place, like she's always been a very popular singer but her media presence itself has been pretty limited besides her divorce.

Anyway, Rise isn't even a real single for her so this doesn't matter. An Olympic song should maybe be doing a little better but these Olympics kinda feel like a non-event anyway. Just like how TIHTY shouldn't be counted against GaGa.

Katy's lead single will go #1 if it's a bop, and even though she will have more difficulty with a slow/mature song, I still can't imagine it doing less than top 5.

The monsters are mighty bold. Wait to Use Your Illusion comes out first. Of course, anything that performs better than Artpop will seem like a victory to you. Katy's standards are clearly a lot higher. Acknowledge this and move on.
