This is one of those situations when the next generation will look back and ask themselves how sane people ever praised something this average.

OT: The gays will be upset with it but the Single Ladies one is by far the better performance. Beyoncé is one of these people that just has it and was made to be on stage.

S4U is still more iconic, a legendary moment in pop culture. That snake sealed the deal. I wish I was old enough at that time to really witness it.

Especially when both slave and single ladies are better performancess then 80% of new performancess in general (by new pop kids). So i don't get this "look back,and be like,how could someone praise something this basic"

Slave 4 u is one of the most iconic VMA performance of all time. Definitely up in the ranks with Madonna like a virgin. I don't think it's fair you picked that VMA performance for bey because the whole Taylor vs kanye thing over shadowed everything. I think love on top performance would had been a better choice.
