I had like 8-12 (depending on your definition of real friends) but now I'm going to university so I'm starting over with like 0 friends

Probably 2-3 who honestly would help me out in my worst times and I would likely do the same for them.
I have many acquaintances but they're not people that I would come over to hang out at 2am on a weekday just because I want to.

I have some trust issues and don't let people come too close. So it depends on your definition
