And that's a problem I have with this show.
Kind of the biggest/one of the few.
There aren't enough deaths!
We literally go EPISODES without a single death and sometimes the writing for an episode just doesn't save it from being bland.

Take any bland episode and add a gruesome/effective death, that 5.5/10 rated episode now bumps up to atleast a 6.5

But I could be spoiled because Scream Queens had a death every single episode.

It would have been a predictable motive a la Kieran honestly. I like the fact that Kieran wasn't killed. Killing Kieran would have been predictable and there would be no shock factor.

I had expected more people to be severely disappointed than what it is currently. I didn't mind the finale and reveal at all, as I felt like it was a nod to a couple of the other films in execution (and Kevin's previous idea for the killer to be in jail controlling other killers), but I do wish Kieran would have died. I also wish more people would have been killed in the episode. I did like that it wasn't rushed though like last season's finale.

Like I stated in my post above. Scream did something different by not killing the killer (Kieran). We might actually get more bits from the original Scream 3 script if the show is renewed for a third season.

It was done in jest to **** with her. Also people use the nickname "killer" when talking to people who are either being aggressive.

It doesn't match with her character in how they made her appear all season, but I could buy it given that she obviously had a dark and ****ed up side, as did the killer this season.

In the writers' defense, basically anyone except Maggie would have been deemed as "so obvious" to a lot of people, as there were at least 3-4 other red herrings this season that up until the finale still seemed possible.

Oh yeah, I mean it was definitely bold of them to do this in the scope of the show. I had more of a problem with it when the special wasn't confirmed, as they can at least do something with it now. I just personally love seeing the showdowns where ]the heroine stabs/shoots the **** out of the killer.

Yeah but, Kieran is either gonna die or escape and kill again in Season 3 (or the Halloween special), helping this "new" killer. There's no fun in that considering the characters and the fans know he's the killer. With Audrey it was exciting because the characters didn't know, so it would've been shocking to them.

My guess would be to cancel the show as all our questions are suppose to be answered but that doesn't make any sense. Unless the other killer is revealed during that special.

From what I've gathered, I really think it's to test the waters to see if the show will get a proper third season renewal. If it doesn't do well, it will wrap up the loose ends from the show to date, but if it does, maybe they'll greenlight for a next full season. It's actually a pretty smart idea on MTV's part.

I honestly think what is making this more disappointing for some people is that they have held on to fan theories that they really liked for so long and anything else that wasn't that was bound to be a bit disappointing. It definitely helped to not have developed any really solid theories or suspicions set in my mind beforehand this season. I would probably be more pissed off if we got a plot-hole filled reveal a la PLL two seasons ago.

This season had a few problems, but overall I found it so much better than Season 1. As always though, would love to see more creative kills.
