This is by far the most frustrating thing. I've had family and friends work in chain bakeries and convenience stores that make hot / fresh food everyday and they have to just throw it out after a certain time - not give it away, not let someone eat it, but just literally toss it out back in a dumpster or face being fired. While thousands and thousands of people are starving.
