Ikea > Co-Operative (where I have worked since I was 17)
I passed the group interview for Ikea then had a fat bitch basically tell me young people "tend to be slower" and "lazier" and she's hesitant about hiring someone so young.
Didn't need an interview for my work experience (Tesco) and internship (Google).
I've had a total of 4 jobs. 2 school related, and the others primary. Before I got my first job, I had a few interviews, but no one wanted to hire me because I was so young and had no experience. There were a few times I was close, but I ended up getting denied.
When I turned 17, I finally was hired at McDonald's after one interview. Then at my current job as a traypasser at a hospital, I had two interviews the same day and was hired on the spot.
Next, when I worked at Career Services at my college, I had one interview. Then recently for my other job as a Student Ambassador, I had to do group and personal interview.
I interviewed for two jobs before I was offered the one I have now. It was a huge blessing because the one that hired me has better pay and benefits than the ones that didn't hire me. I was only unemployed for one month out of college, so it was a nice break!
