I was on the bus once and the girl next to me was on the phone and then she said:

I've got two and they both have to do with geography.
1. This girl in one of my classes asked the teacher "Is China in the USA?" Whats worse is that some of the other students didnt think much of it as if it was a normal question.
2. The other is my friend who despite living in western Massachusetts her whole life said "Yea me and my family pass by Boston all time when we are going to New York." She also didnt know where her city was on the map If you wanna be friends with me you've gotta have basic geography skills. heres a picture of the northeastern USA

when i worked at Krispy Kreme a few customers would come in when the hot light was on and be like "are the donuts hot " but i could see how you couldn't know that
