My inspiration is cupcakke, this woman was struggling 7 months ago and was about to prostitute. She even set up a funding page for her music because she was so poor but almost no one donated her. Heres a quote from her page
Quote:
I cant afford my music .. but I know I have the talent , so im thinking about prostitution if this dont work out .. Because I have no family or friends to help me , I need to pay for studio time and music videos .. just trying to follow my dreams without having to sell my body
Fast forward months later, she has several singles and mvs. 2 albums in 7 months, about 10 mil streams and 200k total sales. S.T.D was selected one of the best rap albums this year by rolling stones. She was on fader magazine, complex magazine and paper magazine. She is a rape victim and her brother hospitalized her this year. But she was so strong and made this far working hard. She grew up in a shelter and shes currently donating to that place. And she is only 18.
Madonnas story really fascinates me, she's truly the real deal and achieved everything in her career on her own merit and without privelage, and I love how her music and her life/career all comes in full circle. each one of her albums have a connection to the very beginning of her career, I love how she merges her past with the present, and her longevity and relevence for 30+ years in the fickle industry is definately something that cannot be ignored.
Beyonce comes from the very same city and similar background as I do, and for her to be one of the biggest names in the world now, just really makes me want to be better, she is one of the prime examples that one can makes it out of a "crabs in a barrel" enviornment, her drive and consistancy to have such a monumental career that last 20yrs is astounding.
Both these ladies have influenced my music and have inspired me to be persistant and hard working, they both know what it's like to really want it, to make it and contribute something new to the industry. I want that for myself, I want to be like them.
She went from living in a shelter and almost becoming a sex worker to a streaming and guest legend.
Honestly careerfatality, it's not even surprising she's your inspiration. She's a woman
Shame for her. I'm genuinely really happy for her that things are turning around and she's seeing some success. Hope she makes it big time.
Theres a huge market for her especially in the UK.
The U.K. loves her. I've notice the UK members adore her like Dark XXX & OpenBarcadi. I'm trying to convince SorryImLuke to become a Slurper. But yes, she was even asked to do a festival in the UK and I know it will be a success
Philanthropist, family man, one of the GOAT in football.
He helped me overcome issues with self-hate and low self-esteem and inspires me to never give up and work hard to become the best version of myself, both mentally and physically.
