Deny? I don't think anyone is denying anything. There is literally nothing to suggest at this moment in time that there was racism involved. Yes obviously racism is present in the UK but we're not the US when it comes to police abusing their power. It's far too presumptuous to brand this a hate crime or a racially motivated incident.

No I agree, it's not on the same level - but the institutional racism in the UK goes back generations, too. Then there are clear incidents of institutional racism like Stephen Lawrence and the whole fallout of the police investigation into his death. The corruption.

Oh yeah that doesn't surprise me at all. Even with the likes of Jimmy Savile (one of the biggest monstrosities to ever exist) there was a cover-up. But there's a difference between cover-ups and attacking someone for no other reason besides race. But I'm sure you understand that, it's more the people immediately assuming it is down to racism.
